The Epistemic Innocence of Imperfect Cognitions

The project on the Epistemic Innocence of Imperfect Cognitions was funded by a 12-month AHRC Fellowship awarded to Lisa Bortolotti, running from September 2013.

In the project we were interested in the potential epistemic benefits of imperfect cognitions, more specifically, delusional beliefs, distorted memories, and confabulatory explanations, as they occur in the clinical and non-clinical population.
